HOW THE PCI WORKS
The PCI is made up of 30 members appointed from the national private sector; the foreign private sector operating in Burkina Faso; and members from transnational firms and institutions. The PCI meets twice a year, in plenary sessions under the high presidency of the President of Faso.
At the operational level, the PCI is organized in thematic and sectoral working groups whose function is to deepen reflection in order to feed the plenary sessions.
The working parties are chaired by representatives of the private sector.
The groups also include people from the public sector.
The groups can call on resource persons from various backgrounds (public sector, private sector, technical and financial partners).
Each group determines the frequency and schedule of its meetings to be held in the meeting room of the PCI Permanent Secretariat.
